Kaffe Stuga in Harris

Clean neat mom and pop style American diner with the usual menu. Passing through, just had a snack and didn't stay long. The name is interesting, its Scandinavian, perhaps Danish. On the walls inside are a few glass-covered time capsules with old photos and relics of a bygone age when the community was still predominantly immigrant and many of 'the older generation' were foreign born. I'd like to think the family who runs the joint have been around that long (but I don't know).The diners seem to be mainly local, a few knew each other by name. Grandparents mostly. I gave high marks for friendly service and good traditional foods but held back because unless you're from that generation you might not find it very appealing.

Amazing food and Awesome staff. Went for Lutefisk special and the New Year's buffet. Both were Absolutely Amazing.

I eat here a lot since I work in the area. I love how the service is always excellent and they keep the spot well organized all the time. Prices are affordable and they serve big portions.

Not following any CDC guideline whatsoever. Place was packed to full capacity with no distancing and only one person on staff was wearing a mask. Great food, poor business practices.

It is just about the greatest place to eat. I have been eating there for 20 years & will never stop. The Breakfast is Top Shelf ! The Lunch/Dinner is Legendary!

Great place to stop and grab a bite in the middle of a long drive. Very reasonably priced, and the food hit the spot. Would definitely go back again

A comfortable place. I was busy looking at all the old pic on wall. Many older couples. Hamburger and tator tots were good.

Awesome cheesy potato soup lots of great flavor and big chunks of ham and potatoes. Our main dishes were a little bland, the corn was obviously canned but the mashed potatoes were divine. Also amazing pecan pie.

For older smalltown restaurants it's the best for home style meals. Very tasty roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, several different specials every day. (Good old fashioned mashed potatoes not full of skins and garlic.) Generous portions and reasonable prices. Good selection. Fast service, friendly staff. Crowded entry/exit by the cash register.

Stopped at Kafe Struga for lunch. When we walked in it smelled just like my mother-in-law's house on a Saturday night.. so we all knew that we would have their roast beef dinner. Delicious! Be sure to have a piece of apple crisp for dessert.

Good prices. Consistent food. Small place have gone here for years. May look busy but has a fast turn over. Ran like a well oiled machine. Hopping business.

Stopped in for pork and sauerkraut but it wasn't on the menu today. We had roast beef and beef tips, both came with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was good. We would go again for the comfort food. Also found some cute hair ribbons for our grand daughters.

Food and service were good. Had to keep our coats on because of the cross breeze between the front and back doors.

I have been coming here since I was five years old (now 30) and the service has always been good, the food has been delicious and consistent and the portions have been generous. Bonus: keep the place very neat and tidy. One thing though that I thought was very off putting, that I will write off as an outlier due to my dozens of positive experiences: One day over the summer, I was told that I would either have to drink my Starbucks (that I absentmindedly carried into the restaurant) outside or it would have to be dumped out. In order not to disrupt my visit, I offered to essentially “pay rent” for my coffee, by purchasing a coffee that I did not receive so that I could continue drink my Starbucks without hassle. If I was dining alone that day I would have drank my coffee outside and left. I mean sure I shouldn’t have brought the drink in, but it was accidental and reallyyyy was it necessary to make such a fuss that resulted in an awkward situation for our table?

1st time ever and we will be back. My daughter and I went in for a late breakfast and it was affordable and great!! Breakfast just like my grandma use to make it!! I wish there were more places like these around

The best fresh raspberry pie I’ve ever eaten in 72 years of life!! The food was delicious. The friendliness and service are the tops. Take the 5 extra minutes needed to leave I-35 and go into Harris. You’ll return over and over as we do, now.

Not a bad Ma & Pa operation! Please was clean, food was cooked to order and prices were in line with expectations. If you are traveling to Duluth but looking for something new, this place is worth the look. Menu was pretty much by the book, and the staff not as attentive as I would have liked. But other than that I would give this another shot.

Best spot to buy something when in a rush. The customer service is efficient, prices are reasonable, good character. Will come back again
